Dietary Services
Nutrition services are provided to all residents and patients, who are screened on admission and assessed for needs and special requirements by a registered dietician. All therapeutic diets are offered as needed and each resident is monitored for weight loss and/or gain. Many residents also require nutritional supplements, such as health shakes, Ensure, and Resource. A full-time dietary liaison is charged with oversight of the food services delivery to our residents. Residents and patients may enjoy meals in the privacy of their rooms or in the dining areas located on each floor. Meals are plated "on demand" in designated rooms adjacent to each dining area and include provisions for "short orders" like grilled cheese. All meals are included in room and board rates.
