FOOD SERVICES

 

Nutrition services are provided to all residents, who are screened upon admission and then assessed for needs and special requirements by a registered dietician. All therapeutic diets are offered as needed and each resident is monitored for weight loss and/or gain. Many residents also require nutritional supplements (health shakes, Ensure, Resource, etc.). A full-time dietary liaison is charged with oversight of the food services delivery to our residents.

Residents may enjoy meals in the privacy of their rooms, in the dining areas located on each resident floor. Meals are plated "on demand" in designated rooms adjacent to each dining area and include provisions for "short orders" (like grilled cheese). All meals are included in room and board rates.
